Who am I?
Welcome to my corner of the internet!
I'm an author who loves to spin tales combining romance, suspense, comedy, and spice.
By day, I dive into market research and excel at Excel (lady in the streets, freak in the spreadsheets!), but by night, I weave tales that keep you on the edge of your seat while making you laugh, swoon, and blush.

I live in Durham, NC with my husband, our daughter, and our chiweenie. When I'm not writing, I'm listening to audiobooks like an addict (it's a real problem) and traveling with my family and friends.

"A sweet romance mixed with suspense that kept me on my toes. I will definitely have a book hangover after this one!
James is a badass business woman who is on a flight to Seattle to meet a potential client. Nick is returning home after a failed interview on the east coast. After ending up sitting next to each other on the plane, James and Nick end up getting together for a one night stand - only to realize that they share a much deeper connection and they're not willing to give each other up just yet.
But their sweet little romance bubble soon bursts when James's past collides with her present. James is quick to push Nick away, wanting to save him from the mess that she's dragged him into. But Nick isn't willing to go down without a fight, and James will need to decide whether she is going to do this on her own, or if she is finally ready to let someone in to be there for her.
I will start off by admitting that I fell in love with Nick the moment he came into the picture. He was charming, funny, and caring. And despite his past relationship and his need to have a plan for everything, he didn't hold back with James. He dove head first and never let his fear get in the way of how he was feeling. My love for him obviously only grew throughout as he navigated his relationship with James and all of the curveballs they were thrown. His patience was extremely endearing and he easily proved that he was exactly who James needed.
I really empathized with James. I have had my fair share of anxiety, and those familiar self deprecating thoughts. So while her outbursts were often frustrating because she was self sabotaging her relationship with Nick, I completely understood those irrational thoughts that she experienced.
The suspense/thrill of the storyline made it hard to put the book down. There was a lot wrapped up in the investigation, but it kept me on my toes. I was also surprised by the twist of danger towards the end. While I usually see those things coming, I hadn't even given it a thought until it actually happened, so I definitely appreciated that it caught me off guard.
This is one of those books that I found myself looking forward to picking up again any chance that I got. The romance and the suspense tied everything together perfectly, and I will definitely be feeling a bit of a book hangover tomorrow.
